Promote
Your Website by Using Your Email List to the Maximum!
So you have built a website and connected with customers on the web. Maybe as few as 10 a day, and maybe you have
1000's of visitors a day to your site. It doesn't matter how few or how many visitors you actually get, what
matters is that you provide them with such great information that they want to hear more about what you have to
say.
They show you they like your site and information by joining your news letter, or subscribing to a free report
through an opt - in list. Once they appear on your opt-in list, they have not only entered their names and
information once, but then confirmed that they do want to hear from you again.
In a brick and mortar business this is the equivalent of having a repeat customer, the very best type of customer.
So what does it all mean to you? If you abuse this warm happy customer by sending them all kinds of unwanted
information, they won't come back. You will loose them forever. So your job is to keep feeding them information
that is of value, and creates a relationship and loyalty between you and this potential future customer that may
buy from you at some point.
We have all had the experience of joining someones list, only to be flooded with unwanted email, pitching this and
that, that is really of no interest. So think about it, what do we all do? We unsubscribe fast.
Before you send an email or information to your list ask yourself a few questions:
1.) Is this something my subscribers would be interested in?
2.) Does it provide real value?
3.) Will it make my relationship with them stronger?
If you can answer yes to these questions, go ahead, send the email to your list. If the answer is no, don't send
it. You will in effect kill the list and it will be of no use what so ever.
